The aim of the rework is to reproduce the mouth-feel and taste of each classic recipe, but focussing on using healthier, whole food ingredients and addressing the needs of those constrained by various health conditions, or who simply want a healthier alternative. These recipes are perfect for achieving weight loss goals, and to assist with diabetes and inflammatory ailments such as celiac disease, non-celiac gluten intolerance, gastrointestinal inflammation and cognitive issues that may be moderated with food.
The keto/low carb, gluten free, grain free approach is not just for metabolic issues – it is a healthy diet for the whole family. Eating is a social, bonding thing. The only way to stay on any lifestyle is if it is sharable. Done right, it is a lifestyle that you can enjoy for the rest of your life.
Each recipe also features the macronutrient ratio, carbohydrate content and food energy supplied by a typical serving, calculated using the USDA nutrient database and other sources, so that you have at your fingertips the effect of each meal.
