6 Tasty Carnivore Sandwiches

Servings: 1 sandwich


INGREDIENTS

  • Grilled cheese
  • 2 slices of my carnivore sandwich bread
  • 1/3 cup of grated old/sharp cheddar – grated
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter – room temperature
  • Egg salad
  • 2 slices of my carnivore sandwich bread
  • 1/3 cup of my deli egg salad – note you can remove any non carnivore ingredients you do not like when making the egg salad
  • Pulled pork
  • 2 slices of my carnivore sandwich bread
  • 1/3 cup of my 2 Ingredients Pulled Pork – Keto Slow Cooker Recipe
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • Egg sausage
  • 2 slices of my carnivore sandwich bread
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 mild fresh Italian sausage – or sausage of your choice
  • Tuna salad
  • 2 slices of my carnivore sandwich bread
  • 1/3 cup my classic Tuna Salad – omit celery if desired
  • Black Forest ham and Swiss cheese
  • 2 slices of my carnivore sandwich bread
  • 2 slices of black forest ham
  • 1 slice of Swiss Cheese
  • 2 tsp of mayonnaise or unsalted butter

DIRECTIONS

  • Grilled cheese
  • 1.   Butter the outside of each slice of bread. Place one slice with the butter side down, distribute the cheese over the inside, unbuttered side of the bread. Place the second slice of bread butter side to the outside, over the cheese

  • 2.   Heat a nonstick frying pan over medium heat. When the pan is hot, place the prepared sandwich into the pan. Fry to a golden brown, flip and fry the other side. Remove from pan and enjoy while hot

  • Egg salad
  • 3.   Distribute the egg salad over the bottom slice of bread and place the second slice on top

  • Pulled pork
  • 4.   Spread 1 tsp of mustard on one side of the bread. Place mustard side up on a plate. Distribute the pulled pork over mustard. Top with second slice of bread, mustard side in

  • Egg sausage
  • 5.   Remove the casing of the sausages and shape into a flat burger shape. Fry until the meat is cooked all the way through. Remove from pan and set aside

  • 6.   Fry an egg sunny side up until yolk is not runny. For best results use a greased cookie cutter ring to fry egg into a disk. Remove and set aside when done

  • 7.   To assemble, Place the fried sausage patty on top of the bottom slice of bread. Place the egg on top of the sausage. Cover with the second slice of bread

  • Tuna salad
  • 8.   Distribute the tuna salad over the bottom slice of bread and place the second slice on top

  • Black Forest ham and Swiss cheese
  • 9.   Distribute mayonnaise over the bottom slice of bread and place 2 slices of shaved Black Forest Ham on top. Fold a slice of Swiss Cheese and place on top of the ham. Place the second slice on top

  • 10.   OPTIONAL: slices of bread can be pan fried or toasted before assembling
